We are excited to announce that the OD Photo Prize is once again accepting submissions, in search of the most inspiring early career photographic artists from around the globe.
This year, the Winner will receive an increased prize of £2,000. Additionally, all shortlisted artists will be invited to participate in a group exhibition at the Photo Book Cafe in London, hosted by the Open Doors Gallery, to celebrate their talent and projects. A selection of prints from the shortlisted artists will be exhibited and made available for sale both online and at the exhibition. The Winner and two Runners Up will have their projects showcased at the exhibition in a more extensive manner, and their work will be prominently featured on the Open Doors Gallery website alongside our esteemed roster of award-winning artists.

Selected finalists will also have the opportunity to receive various prizes chosen by an esteemed panel of influential experts in the field of photography. These prizes range from being recognized as “Judge’s Picks” to the coveted Metro mentorship award, selected by the renowned artist and creative director, Professor Steve MacLeod.
The OD Photo Prize takes pride in tracking the development and career progression of artists who have been shortlisted for the prize in the past and help these artist build momentum.
“Having been selected as a Runner Up of the OD Photo Prize 2022 has been exhilarating. I’m honored to have my work recognized by such a distinguished jury and to have had the chance to exhibit my ‘Nachtluftschlösser’ series in London next to some very talented photographers. It has been very helpful in increasing the visibility of my work.” – Dora Lionstone, OD Photo Runner Up, 2022.
